We’re extremely excited to share our quarterly wine market report - delivering the most detailed view of the wine markets through Q4 2025. This is a pivotal report, as Q4 saw a continuation of the positive market momentum first observed in Q3.
The WineFi Trade Price Index recorded its second consecutive quarter of growth - a trend we have not seen in over three years.
Inside The Report
The Trade Price Index rose +1.07%, confirming that the recovery is gaining traction beyond isolated auction results.
Trade discounts to list prices narrowed significantly to just 1.2% (vs a historic average of 6.5%), suggesting sellers are facing less pressure to concede.
The rate of list price declines more than halved to -1.25%, indicating that merchant inventory is stabilising.
Bid-offer ratios increased, signalling renewed buyer engagement, while spreads remain at multi-quarter lows.
The auction market delivered strong performance, with 100% sell-through rates at major sales from Christie's and Hart Davis Hart.
